THIRD SHIP CO., LTD. (the “Company”) asks users to provide the minimum amount of personal information such that users can use the Company’s services with peace of mind. The Company takes the utmost care to protect personal information provided by users.
The Company's approach to protecting personal information is as follows:
■ The Company uses the information of individuals, groups, and corporations registered by members only to develop and provide cutting-edge features and services for the Company’s website and takes the utmost care to protect members' personal information.
■ This Privacy Policy applies only to services provided by the Company. (The scope is set forth in Section 1. below.)
■ Personal information will not be used for any purpose other than that stated in this Privacy Policy. (The purpose is set forth in Section 2 below.)
■ Personal information will not be disclosed to any third party other than those stated in this Privacy Policy. (Details on management of personal information are set forth in Section 2 below.)
■ The Company otherwise periodically manages personal information in an appropriate manner with the methods set forth in this Privacy Policy.
■ The Company may change this Privacy Policy without users’ approval.
If the Company has changed what personal information it collects, has changed how it uses personal information, has changed what personal information it discloses, or has made any other such changes, the Company shall inform users of those changes by publishing a release on the Company’s website and reflecting those changes in this Privacy Policy.

1. Application scope of this Privacy Policy
■ This Privacy Policy is applicable when a member uses the Company’s services.
■ Personal information that is collected when a member uses the Company’s services is managed following the Company’s approach to protecting personal information.
■The Company's approach to protecting personal information applies only to services that the Company has directly provided and does not apply to services provided by any other organization or company that the user has accessed via a hyperlink or the like.
■ Users use the Company’s services at their own responsibility.
■ The Company is not liable for any damage incurred due to using information obtained from the Company’s website or from any other website that is linked to via a hyperlink on the Company’s website.

2. Collection and use of personal information by the Company
To develop and provide cutting-edge features and services to members, the Company requires several pieces of personal information about members.
■ Each user is responsible for managing their own shop ID and password.
- We recommend that each user periodically changes their password and avoids using their name, date of birth, phone number, or other such numbers/words that are easily guessable.
- Do not disclose, lend, or transfer your password to anybody, even an acquaintance or friend.
- Do not write your password in inquiry emails or in the Q&A section of the Company’s website.
■ Collected personal information will be used only to the extent necessary to provide the Company’s services and will not be provided to any third party, except in the following cases:
■ Use cases that each member consents to:
- When sending an email to request consent from a member about using personal information
- When necessary, we disclose personal information to companies or other entities that have signed a confidentiality agreement with the Company (e.g., a business partner).
- When sending a member an email or a direct mail for advertising purposes for the Company, a business partner of the Company, or other such entity.
- When the Company finds it necessary to protect the rights and/or property of any other member, third party, or the Company in cases in which a member's actions at the Company breach the Company's policies, notices, terms of use, or the like.
- When disclosure of personal information is required in accordance with an order from a court or an administrative organ or in accordance with any other legal requirement, or when necessary to investigate a crime, to eliminate or otherwise prevent an infringement of a third party’s rights, or for any other similar purpose.
■ Members give prior consent to the Company with regard to using personal information in the manner set forth above and shall not object thereto.
■ Further, the Company may share a member's personal information with its business partners in the following cases also:
- When there is a business-related reason, such as to provide a special service for a member. In such cases, the Company will request the member’s consent before providing personal information and will not provide personal information without the member’s consent.
- When compiling statistical data, conducting market research, or conducting data analysis or the like. In such cases, the Company will provide only personal information that has been processed such that it cannot be used to identify a specific individual.
